Challenge : particularly complex construction due to its geographical location (above railway tracks and an active train station), integrating a training facility into a real estate complex also comprising private residences and commercial spaces (approximately 10,000m²).
Our mission :
- Counsel to the Dean of the University
- Strategic guidance a foreign investor in the development of a complex real estate project
- Implementation strategy, negotiations with partners
- Formalization of the VEFA (Vente en l’État Futur d’Achèvement – Sale in Future State of Completion)
Project : the project is part of the “Paris Rive Gauche” urban regeneration led by SEMAPA, developer on behalf of the city of Paris. As one of the most prestigious schools in the world – with 94 Nobel Prize winners from its ranks – the University of Chicago has been present in France since 2003.
The university was closely involved in the design of the new site and in the architectural competition organized by SEMAPA in 2018. We have prepared all the contractual documents to be signed with the promoter Icade, the winner of this competition.
