This urban renewal is an opportunity to rethink all traffic systems with the new extension of the SNCF station, as well as pedestrian routes, two-wheeler accessibility, and the overall comfort of users. The strong presence of all forms of mobility is integrated in a garden city concept, where nature remains prevalent, reflecting the overall image of the City of Versailles.
Our mission :
- General project manager,
- Reconceptualizing a strategic urban project for the city by working on renegotiating protocols between stakeholders and leading its complete realization
Project : the redevelopment project of the hub consisted of two closely intertwined components, the creation of an exchange hub (renovation and enlargement of the existing SNCF station, creation of a bus station and an underground public parking) and an urban component comprising the creation of public spaces, the sale of land to private developers (realization of a mixed program including housing, student residences, senior residences, daycare centers, offices, etc.) and the conversion of the former freight hall as a headquarter for Nature et Découvertes.
