Challenge : with four metro lines, the future Saint-Denis-Pleyel station is one of the most iconic stations of the Grand Paris Express. Through the realization of this major metropolitan project, the Pleyel area will become a major hub of Greater Paris, with a public transport interconnection comparable to those of Les Halles, leading to a profound urban renewal.
Our mission : the consortium led by Une Fabrique de la Ville assisted the local authority in the operational implementation of the Saint-Denis-Pleyel development project, which will be carried out around the new station of the Grand Paris Express network.
Project : the urban project revolves around two facilities of metropolitan importance:
- The Pleyel station of the Grand Paris Express, which accommodates lines 14, 15, 16 and 17, while creating an interconnection with line 13 and the RER H,
- The Pleyel urban crossing, a 300m long inhabited bridge, which will reduce the urban divide created by the northern rail network.
Around these two facilities, a new neighborhood will take shape, creating 550,000m² of new mixed-use surfaces.
